Cancellation Policy

As a destination management company, Egypt Travel Agency arranges services from many suppliers — hotels, Nile cruises, guides, transport and experiences — each with its own cancellation terms. For that reason, cancellation and amendment conditions are set per programme rather than as a single fixed schedule.

Where you will find the terms

The applicable cancellation deadlines, charges and refund conditions for your programme are set out clearly in the proposal and contract you receive before confirming. These are the terms that apply to your booking.

Amendments

We will always try to accommodate changes to a confirmed programme. Whether an amendment is possible, and any cost, depends on the suppliers involved and how close to travel the change is requested.

Cancellations by a client or partner

If you need to cancel, tell us as early as possible. Charges are calculated according to the terms in your contract and the supplier conditions in force at the time of cancellation.

Circumstances beyond our control

Where events outside reasonable control affect a programme, we will work with you and our suppliers to find the best available solution, within the terms of the relevant supplier and contract conditions.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers hold comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation and curtailment.
